Shingles! And a photo tour of the house

We've got an actual roof now!  Very exciting!

I caught them on break I think.  And I also think I made them nervous, so they got right up and started working again.  LOL!

Also, it occurred to me that I've never shown the entire interior of the house.  So I did the best I could and took pictures from all directions (or most directions) in all the rooms.  I feel like it is so hard to see with all the studs, but I feel like it's getting easier.  So, hopefully it'll at least give you all an idea of what it looks like!

Starting in the living room.

Standing in our bedroom door, looking straight at the kitchen.  The room on the right hand side of the picture is Ira and Judy's apartment.  The things on the left are closets.  A coat closet and my sewing closet.  Our fireplace is directly to my left where I'm standing.

Now standing at the back corner of the living room up against Ira and Judy's apartment.  The open front door is just on the right side of the picture.  Almost in the middle of the picture is an archway (hard to see in this pic) which leads down the hallway to the front bedrooms and bathroom.

Standing in the doorway of Tres' room.  Our closet is on the right and bathroom on the left.  If you look closely you can see in the back corner of the bathroom where the floor looks different. That's because the floor is a few inches lower for our shower!  We need a roll in shower, and so in order for it to be flush with the tile, they had to lower that part.  But our shower is huge!  Our whole shower is 6-1/2 ft by 7-1/2 ft.  Yah...we're pretty excited about the space.  You'd be amazed how much space a shower chair takes up.  And the door on the left goes out to our back porch.

Ok, now we're switching sides of the house.  This is inside Ira and Judy's apartment, standing in their living room.  That's their own entrance from the driveway.

Same wall.  They'll have a little kitchenette in that corner.

Okay, back into our living room.  Looking at the coat closet and sewing closet (front door is barely out of the shot on the left) and kitchen on the right.  You can see Tres in the distance sitting in the driveway.  On the right is the corner of Ira and Judy's living room.
