Engaged!

So, I'm pretty sure most everyone who reads my blog knows by now...but if you don't...

I'M ENGAGED! :)

It happened last Saturday night, Tres had not planned to do it that night, but it just sort of happened. :) I'm so glad it did. It was sweet, and romantic and from his heart.

We had spent the day running errands and looking at a few model homes to get floor plan ideas and that sort of thing. And then we spent the evening on the back porch with his parents and a fire in the pit. We made s'mores, drank good coffee, and chatted it up for a while. After his parents went to bed, it was just the two of us and that's when he popped the question. He basically told me that he hadn't intended to say anything that night, and he didn't have anything to give me YET. (He emphasized that--I've since found out a ring has been ordered and he says I'll have in a few weeks) Then he had all sorts of other wonderful things to say, and then he asked me if I'd marry him. It was great and perfect.

So, apparently once the ring comes in, he's going to ask me again. So I'll get proposed to twice! ha! I love it.

Anyway, I've already started creating a website for our wedding. There you can find information about us, our registries (of which there is only one so far, but at least 2 more to come) and anyone receiving an invitation will also receive the guest password which will enable you to RSVP, and view specific information about the wedding, reception and other guest information. So be on the lookout! Oh, and our wedding is on March 13 in Maine. 142 days to go!

Also, stay tuned for a blog about Grampi's visit the previous weekend. We had such a great time, and I'll be writing all about it in the coming days. It's just been a very busy couple of weeks since I've moved out of my apartment and into the Sansom's (I'll also blog all about that)
