So with her mothers permission, I wanted to share Tracy with all of you!
Tracy is 26, and she has cerebral palsy. She's very high functioning, and isn't 'text book' when it comes to her diagnosis. She's very verbal (says the funniest things), she is quite independent, sees and hears (her hearing is unbelievable)
I work with Tracy Tuesdays and Thursdays. My unofficial title is Vocational, recreational, and beauty attendant. :) Perfect, right?
So, each day I'm with her I go and pick her up and we head out. We do all sorts of things together.
She loves to shop. On an excessively rainy or hot day, this is a common activity for us
She has a job at a local courthouse shredding documents. We go once a week and she usually has a whole basket to do. She has shredding jobs at other places too, but we bring those home to do. Her closet has a bunch of stuff we need to shred right now.

This is Kristen. She is Tracy's full-time caregivers daughter. Tracy loves Kristen. She was so excited that I invited Kristen to go out with us one day a few weeks back to go and see Toy Story 3 all together. It was such a fun day! I'm hoping Kristen will go out with us a bunch more. Tracy behaved perfectly the entire time, and Kristen is so good with her.

Tracy loves Sonic. It's her favorite place to go. (yuk) But I take her every Tuesday after she's done shredding. The other day I pick someplace else to go, much to her dismay. But her mother loves that I make her go other places too.
Every few weeks she gets her nails done. She has the prettiest nails!
