First, on Sunday we had a BBQ/party for Matt. Here I am, enjoying the BEAUTIFUL Maine spring day. It was a perfect day.
Laura Hall literally drove in from college, just in time for the food! Surprised anyone? Janna and Laura Doherty were thrilled to see her (as was I)
This is Erin Farrell's husband and daughter, Derek and Leah. He returned from Iraq the night before. So, Leah was only a little excited that he was home again.

Pat, Matt's friend (we call Pat Matt's wife..lol) was voted "Best All Around Student and Outstanding Senior" by his classmate and the faculty. Which meant he got to give a speech. It was amazing. He did such a great job. It's about 6 minutes long. Enjoy!
And, it is official folks. Matt really did get to walk across stage and get his diploma! :)

The tradition at Cheverus is that the guys all smoke cigars after graduation. Some of the girls have joined in on that now too, but most didn't I don't think. But the guys all did!
With Mom and Dad, and the REAL diploma! After Matt walked across stage to get his diploma, and sat back down, he texted Alex to tell him that the diploma was real. It was so funny. Dad told Alex to text him back and make sure there wasn't a return address on the back that he didn't notice. Isn't technology amazing? ha!
