OK, so I have plans to show and pics of the property! So, you can click on each picture to make them bigger so you can see them better.
So, here is the floor plan as it stands now. This is pretty much it. It might change a little here and there. But overall, this is the plan! We're so excited about it.

So, now that you have a floor plan, I can try to explain how it is going to be laid out on the property. Hopefully you'll be able to tell what I'm talking about.
So this pic is from the front of the property, looking toward the back left corner. I've painted the stakes pink using photoshop so you can see them.
The first stake is the front corner of the kitchen (the garage is not staked out). And the back stake is the back left corner of the house (the back of the apartment)

The 2 stakes in the left of the picture here, are the same 2 as above. The back right one is the back corner of the room named "Tres' room" So the closet and the back of the bathroom are not staked out.

The 2 stakes on the left here, are the same 2 as above (front of the kitchen, and back of Tres' room). The one on the right is the front right corner of the living room/entry area. Basically where the first bedroom begins. There is another stake way to the right which marks the outside corner of the house.

Looking down the front of the house. Corner of the kitchen, end of the living room/beginning of bedrooms, end of the last bedroom.

This first stake is the back corner of "Tres' room" and the one in the distance is the back is the back of the apartment.

And now, looking from the back of the property. The stake in the foreground is the back of the apartment, looking up to the front of the kitchen. On the left is the end of the living room/beginning of the bedrooms. I tried to get the other stake in this picture too, and I do think I did get it in the picture...just...I can't see it to mark it pink. But it's in those trees somewhere. lol.

So, since it was mentioned a few times...I bet you're all wondering what "Tres' room" is. Well, it's the closet that he's going to sleep in of course, leaving me to have that huge bedroom all to myself. :) LOL. just kidding. No, actually this was a combined request of Tres and I. Tres needs a place in the house for his exercise equipment which is large and specialized of course. Currently it's mostly out in the barn, and he doesn't get the chance to use it often. So if it is in our bedroom he'll get to use it everyday like he's supposed to. So that was Tres' part of the request. My part of the request was that I really wanted a place in our room, but not in our room, for infants when that time should come. Obviously we can't be tip toeing around our room with all of Tres' care that needs to take place. And likely with other people coming in and out to do a lot of his care once there is a baby around, it won't be all that quiet either....but also I need our babies to be nearby until they're old enough to be in their own room. So when there is a baby, his exercise equipment will just stay pulled out in the room somewhere (as you can see the room is quite large) and left out. And when there's not, it'll get put back in his little room every night.
So anyway, that's the description of that.
As you can also see, I requested a sewing closet. Really it's going to be a craft closet, for all my crafty stuff. But with a table with wheels so I can take my sewing out when I want it, and put it back without having to clean it all up when I don't.
We're going to have a ton of built in open shelving. Pretty much the only actually cabinets in the house will be in the kitchen. Most everything else will be open shelving. I much prefer it.
We're also planning to prepare the space above the front right bedroom to create a loft space down the road if we need more sleeping space for kids. And, the space above the kitchen and apartment is going to be an attic, and I think if worse came to worse we could turn part of that into another room too, either a bedroom or a play room/family room/extra room type of thing. Anyway, we figure any changes like that are still probably 10+ years away. But we're trying to plan ahead as best we can.
