2 MORE DAYS!!!

Just 2 more short days until I get on a plane to Austin. Yay!! I have plans to meet up with some women down there...who I don't officially know yet, but will before I leave. They are friends of a friend. So--I won't be completely alone.

AND....the really big news is, Dan is going!! He can't go for the whole time, but he's flying down on Monday and staying until Wednesday, which is when I leave too. So I'm really excited about that. We plan to go horseback riding, and maybe finding an open mic night somewhere to perform while we're there. Not to mention, see what else is going on around the city. There is supposed to be a ton of things to do for young people in Austin. I'm excited to go, and I'm excited that Dan is going too.

I do plan to blog while I'm there. So, hopefully you'll be able to be reading about things as they happen! I have free internet in my room--I plan to utilize that while I can.

I can't remember if I have free internet in DC or not--so you may not get updates while I'm in DC at the end of the week. Plus--I'll have less time to blog while there--they are long days volunteering for Passion.

So, last night we had an ice storm around here. On the coast, it wasn't so bad. But inland, like Lewiston and Augusta...got hit pretty hard, and a lot of people lost power.

In other news: today is Valentine's Day in case you hadn't noticed. So Happy Valentine's Day to everyone!

Tomorrow is Janna's 16th birthday--so I'm sure I'll be blogging tomorrow night, or Saturday night from Austin about it. :)
