10 days until I get on a plane to Austin! Whoo hoo! I'm just a little excited to go and visit. It's going to be a really fun trip.
Sadly though, my friend Jen, decided that she just can't swing it financially. So as of now, I'm going on my own. Which is fine, I was (and still am) prepared to go alone, but I would love to go WITH someone. It would be way more fun that way.
So...I've asked Dan if he wants to go. And he's looking into it. He wouldn't be able to go the whole time, but he might be able to go for 2 nights. We'll see. I would love for him to go. That would be so fun.
If he can't go--does anyone else want to go with me? Like I said, I'm fine going alone...but I'd rather go with someone else. I am seriously asking. :) Let me know if this sparked your attention. Email me, or write me a comment with your email so I can contact you personally.
And of course, on the tails of my Austin trip, is DC--for Passion. I am so excited to get there. Jen is meeting me there--and we have plans to see DC for the day on Thursday. Do the tourist thing, and we're meeting up with some other girls that we know for dinner that night who are also going to Passion. I've suggested that we go to The Melting Pot. My friend Jenn has recommended this place to me before, and I've always wanted to go. So I'm hoping that they will all agree that this is where we should eat out. I mean honestly, any place where you dip things into cheese-and then dip things into chocolate--is okay by me. Does it get any better than that? :)
In other news--I have a 3 day weekend this weekend! YAY!! I have Monday off. How exciting!! David has been away on a trip for 10 days...and whenever he goes away, he feels guilty that we've been stuck here in the office. So Marc and I have Monday off. :) Yay for that.

I so wish I could come with you to Austin. It would be SO MUCH FUN and I'd love to have some Kate-time!
