But first off a house update...
We have a backyard fence now!! Whoo hoo! A place to put the dog. She's very very good in the house, but she LOVES to be outside and we just couldn't put her out there alone obviously. So now we have a place to put her. yay! We also have a shed. Another yay! That meant that things like the lawn mower and other yard and work related items are now living there instead of in the garage. It was starting to get ridiculous in the garage.
Hard to see the fence here...zoomed in on the next pic.
And a privacy fence at the back. You know, I'm sure all of our neighbors are great people (we love the people right next door to us for example) But someone at somepoint drilled holes, or cut into with a chain saw, in all of our trees at the back of our property. We're not sure when it happened or who did it...but we decided a privacy fence was best back there. Just in case...plus it looks so good!
So what's coming up next for the Sansom's?
Well, this weekend we head back to Houston for some doctor appointments for Tres. We leave right after church tomorrow, and we should be back home either Monday night or Tuesday early in the day. And then Wednesday we get on a plane to head up north!! We are SO excited! We'll fly into Boston Wednesday night and drive up to Maine Thursday morning to meet Dad on the boat to head out to Matinicus! Ah, we're so excited to get out of these 105+ degree temps that we've been having. The forecast is looking pretty nice for Maine. We'll be there for 10 days, and will fly back here to Austin. And then the following week I fly back up to Maine to meet up with Laura Hall to drive down to Texas with her! Why?? Because she's moving in with us for the next year while she interns with some local artists to help her decide which route to go for grad school. So excited to have her here with us too!
So, that's the basics that I can think of. We are so excited to get to Maine that it's hard to think about anything else at this point. :)
