Stupid computer....

So--on Sunday my computer decided to have a heart attack, or some such thing. It just shut down on me! How annoying. I really dislike pc's, and can't wait to purchase an apple computer, which I have every intention of doing. I wasn't planning on doing it until the summer-or thereabouts. But if they can't fix my computer...I might be doing it a little sooner.

It must have been my day for making electronic things blow up, because the same day, my DVD player stopped working. Thankfully I had a new one sitting in my closet just waiting to be hooked up. I had won it from Mary Kay about a year ago, and just didn't have a need for it yet. But I knew the day would come--so I was SO glad to have it. Plus, the new one is a SONY, so that's really nice!

This weekend Janna and I are going to NYC to visit Alex! I'm sure I'll have a report with pictures when I return on Monday. The question is...will I have a computer to blog it on...

We've got two Macs at home... a Mac mini and a MacBook... and we love them!

I don't know how far you are from Salem, NH, but there is an Apple Store there at the Mall at Rockingham Park. Apple Stores are the best place to buy Macs hands-down. And in NH, no sales tax. :-)

Best of luck with yer sick computer. A warning on Macs... there are few places in the Portland area for repair (I've only seen one - in Saco). The Mac store is great, and I miss my good ole Mac :( but repair can be a hassle.

Sorry to hear about your computer! :( How sad. IT's never easy when you have computer issues - I've had many!

Have fun in NYC! I wish I could see you when you're down but I know you will be busy. Enjoy!
