Ultimate Frisbee Match

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I'm trying to catch up, but I just haven't had a moment!!

So anyway, last Thursday night, the 24th, we had an Ultimate Frisbee Match in my parents back yard. It was Team Libby vs. Everybody else. We got slammed. Matthew had all of these great ideas, which weren't working. Finally, Matt Grinder, who was watching from the sidelines, couldn't stand it any longer and stepped in to help us out, and what do you know, we started scoring a few points! But we still lost game 1.

Game 2--more of the same. We scored maybe 2 points, but still Matthew was trying to get us to do things the way he wanted. So--the final point of the game--who ever scored the last point, wins the whole thing--Matthew had been trying to convince us that we all needed to just run straight down the field to the end zone and that he would get the frisbee down to us. Well...after much arguing, we finally gave in thinking "oh sure, let's just let him get slaughtered--Matt vs. 7--this will turn out well" So, Mom, Dad, Janna, Alex and I ran straight down the field to the end zone, laughing the whole way. The other team couldn't figure out what we were doing at first. We get down the end zone, and turn around, to see a frisbee coming at us. Dad jumped up and caught it, and we won the whole game! It was so funny. We're still laughing about it.

This is Team Libby. Yes, we have shoe polish on our faces. :) War paint.

And, the whole gang all together. Except Matt Grinder, who had gone home by this point. From left to right. Back row- Matthew, Dad, Mom. Next row-Amy, Andrew, Janna, Alex, Kim, me, Sarah Grinder, Sarah Rollins. And in the front--Craig. It was really fun.
Following the game, we had ice cream at Mom's and then a few of us went to see Shrek the Third. It was a cute movie.
